[And with that text sent, Clover's off! It takes a little closer to thirty-five minutes for her to get there, but once she does, it's hard to miss her, between all the pink, the way she gets up on her toes and waves as soon as she sees Naoya, and, y'know, the giant purple snake following her around.]

[Naoya's a little hard to miss too, what with the Gardevoir following him around. He nods when he spots Clover, and approaches her and Yurlungur.]

There you are. I was wondering where he'd gotten to.

[It's kind of hard to lose a giant snake, after all.]

Good thing we could get him home safe! You were the first person I thought of when he showed up. I'm glad he was yours and not some random wild cobra thing busting into my room.

Exactly. You're also lucky that he's rather sedate for an Arbok.

[He's much much bigger than you, Clover. That could have been very bad.]

[Yurlungur slithers over to Naoya and rubs his head against the man's side. He gives his Pokemon a fond pat on the hood.]

Hehe, good to see we're done worrying. Sorry about that. [Not that...Naoya has any idea what she should be apologizing for but she doesn't think much farther ahead than "still can't believe I might've accidentally stolen an entire snake????"]

I'd still like to know how that happened.

[Alice floats towards Clover a bit and bows slightly before speaking to her telepathically.]

Thank you for returning him. ... He may not show it, but he worries about us.

But she glances from Alice to Naoya, briefly, and back over at Alice, smiling.] ...Yeah, no problem.

[Back to Naoya!!] Okay, well, have you noticed the wish thing?

... I have, though I'm a bit hesitant to wish for anything here. Given how this place likes to pull... strange situations on us...

... Ah. I see. That explains a few things. Yurlungur does seem to like you, though.

[He's not going to ask about the brother thing. He has enough issues with his own family.]

[She's just gonna get bummed out if she keeps talking about it, so that's fine with her.]

Mm... You think so? Then maybe popping by for a quick visit wasn't the worst that could have happened. [Not that staring real hard at Yurlungur is helping her figure out how to read snake feelings, but she looks pretty pleased at having won the giant cobra thing's approval, anyway.]

What have you been up to? Aside from accidentally stealing snakes, I mean.

Hanging out. [Shrug!] Working, wandering. It's way too much trouble to travel so I haven't left the city. What about you?

I've mostly been working. I haven't really bothered to try the gym here. Apparently there's no real need for breeders to do that. I have been training my Pokemon, though.
