So this is something I've never experienced.

I've woken up in someone else's room, with someone else's Pokemon, with someone else's body. Someone please tell me this isn't just me that's having an issue. That would be unfortunate.

I also am entirely unable to talk. So that's an issue.

Also before some prankster suggests it - no, I am not going to go on a spending spree with someone else's money. And if any of you have similar situations, I suggest not doing that either lest the original owner of that body comes by to smack you upside the head with a psychic cat or something.

Because some of us aren't. It's weird, and I'm not even sure what caused it.

Don't get me wrong. It's kind of cool, but I feel like the novelty's gonna wear off sooner than later.

How're you taking it so far? I mean, the lack of speech probably isn't helping much, but at least if you wound up another guy, you wouldn't have to... well, adjust.

It's a little bit of a surprise, but it's fine. I think 'adjusting' isn't going to be the issue here.

Her Pokemon are probably the bigger issue. I don't want to keep them confined all the time, but the Psychic ones at least will probably know right away that I'm not their trainer.

Wouldn't it be better to come clean? It's not like it's your fault, so if they flip out, that's on them and not you.

I imagine they wouldn't be happy about it. I don't want to upset someone else's Pokemon and then have the damage be on their hands when we switch back.

Then that's my body. My Gardevoir and Chatot should be able to help you communicate with other people. Their Pokeballs are the ones in my jacket pocket, so you don't have to worry about going through all of them to find those two.

All right. My Gardevoir should be nearby to where you are. I tend to let her out fairly early since she likes helping with baking. Her name is Alice.

She'll probably be able to tell right away that you're not me, but if you show her this conversation she'll probably be all right. She can read just fine, and she likes people.

I'll be sure to let her know then. Help and Switch are my Gardevoir and Chatot.

It does, often enough. People tend to get boring after a while.

How do you cope?

Ignore them when I can, deal with them when I can't. I've had a project going for the last hundred years or so, but not anymore.
