Powers and Abilities:
- Naoya is considered a genius programmer - for good reason, because he figured out how to summon demons using emotions from the internet. Security systems mean nearly nothing to him, and this fits in with his problem-solving abilities - he regards a complicated security system with the same level of ease most would regard a child's jigsaw puzzle.
- Naoya is fast - even without the addition of magic. He's just speedy and can balance on geta easily which is not a simple task.
- He has a perfect memory. Naoya is a walking textbook of history, languages, and technology. Living for so long means that he's seen history firsthand - from the fall of Babel to man walking on the moon. He knows so much and remembers so much - and cannot forget a thing.
- He's adept at magic. As in, really adept at it. He programmed all the skills into the COMP. He'd much prefer to use the COMP, since it's easier and uses a lot less energy, but as it stands, he would have these skills equipped:
Shield All - nullify any damage once (unless you have some sort of piercing skill)
Megidolaon - heavy Almighty damage (Almighty damage is generally unblockable in his canon) (up to 3 targets)
Mediarahan - full HP (up to 3 targets)
Anti-All - all damage taken -50% (except for Almighty-type damage or something equivalent)
Extra One - guaranteed extra turn (this will be my excuse for him being a speedy bastard)
Attack All - normal attack hits all in a group
Full Might - guaranteed critical attack (basically when he hits, he hits hard)
- He has demons at his disposal. His COMP currently has Huoniao and Catoblepas in his party.
- He cannot keep plants alive as per his curse.
What Did Your Character Wish For? The power to defeat God.
What Potion Did They Receive? Golden
Did They Drink It? No, but eventually.
If Yes, What Element/Animal? It's gonna be a wolf. I think.
Character Questions:
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon? Or who is someone they miss the most? Kazuya. Or rather, Abel - he cares for Kazuya as his cousin but does not care for him as much as he cares about the shard of Abel in his soul. He misses his brother dearly, but is aware that he'll never regain Abel. Not fully, anyway.
2. What are they most afraid of? Never breaking his curse. He's afraid of eternity, of never being able to die properly and never being able to just rest.
3. What is their weakness? Emotionally, mentally and physically? His anger and arrogance are his biggest weaknesses. He's not always the easiest to goad into messing up, but once he's angry it's easy to unbalance him.
4. What would make them happiest? Being able to die properly. And ridding the world of God would be a nice bonus.
5. What do you want out of your character in this setting? Naoya really does thrive as a person in a setting that isn't his own. He's not happy in his setting, and while his deep wish is to die and not reincarnate again, he is much less focused on that goal when there are interesting new things to learn and explore. Also, he's not a good guy, he's an antagonist (even if you can side with him in game, he's still an antagonist). I'm very curious as to what sort of things he can be convinced to help with - and what sort of things that he'd be more interested in stepping back and play out.
