I do, actually. As long as they survive the initial demon attack, then most people used them to defend themselves from the demons invading Tokyo. Some used them against other people, but statistically most of them didn't.

So you're ... it's like you're givin' 'em a way to protect themselves but they don't know about demons so in the end they don't know how to handle 'em.
It's not as if I left them defenseless. The first demon that appears from their COMPs is almost always a fairly weak one, and the Harmonizer inside of it puts them on the same physical level. It's not like it's hard to punch a Pixie or something like that into submission.

No, that's true. But demons were going to be invading anyway, and I think that more people having a chance of surviving is better than no people having a chance of surviving, don't you?

... I think you've got things backwards. As I said, there was going to be a lockdown anyway as the demons came to fight in the human world, whether or not I made the summoning program. That would have caused even more casualties if they couldn't fight back.
Yes, some people may have died as a result of the summoning program - but again, more people were saved because they could fight. The people who hired me knew the war was coming - so they needed a way to fight. It's not as if everyone knows summoning rituals.
If I knew how to help people and did nothing, wouldn't that make me even more guilty?
... He's alive. Changed, but alive. And it seems that he made different choices in different places... as Atsuro seems to remember a different sequence of events.
