[Normally Naoya wouldn't bother with a post like this, but he's at his wit's end. He's done his best to try to solve it himself, but it's not working... so it's a rather frazzled-looking Naoya who appears on the screen, barely holding on to a very frightened-looking Ralts.]

[The Ralts in question is making tiny squeaking noises and looks like she wants to cry and hide rather than be anywhere in the area. Any Pokémon watching can probably hear her squeaking 'he is a bad and scary man'.]

Most of my Pokémon are rather well behaved. This one, however... doesn't seem to want to be anywhere near me. I haven't done anything to scare her. She just hatched a few days ago.

Has anyone else had problems with a Ralts that... doesn't seem to like them?

[He just... turns the video off. He'll put her back in her Pokeball now because... he doesn't know what else to do.]

Generally no, but sometimes they do. That tends to happen more in certain demonic lines, though. Cats tend to always be fairly clever and... well. Catty.

Why am I not surprised? That's already a common trait for them; being demonic should only make that worse.

Pretty much. It's generally those that used to be gods that still think they can get by on brute strength. The Norse ones tend to be some of the worst.

I've had to work with a lot of them. Or at least study them enough to be able to work out their summoning rituals.

I don't think most of them would turn it down, but it's not required, no.

It's less that and more that the energy that those provide has always been the real catalyst for it. Find alternative sources and you can summon them just fine.

... Not that sort of energy. Emotional energy is what's needed.

There's also the fact that I think most demons wouldn't know what a power plant was if you put them in front of one.

It's important to remember that history is written by the victors. So of course the history books are wrong in many ways.

Sometimes, they don't even need to be victors to write things down incorrectly. Being assholes with an agenda suffices.

Pretty much. Honestly, I don't know why that surprises people anymore. History doesn't change, but the telling of it does.
